Ironbottom Sound
Campaign Premise

The goal of the Japanese in this campaign is to lengthen the duration to greater than the actual campaign, which took 180 days. This campaign will last 90 days plus whatever results the Japanese achieve in their missions: reinforcement, supply, sinking American transports and bombarding Henderson Field. The American goal is to finish the campaign as soon as possible, in other words, stopping the Japanese from achieving their missions.

The time lapse between missions is dependent on the size of the effort:
small - 3 days - 1 player/side
medium - 6 days - 2 players/ side
large - 9 days - 3 players/side
x-large - 12 days - 4 players/side

The increase in the duration of the campaign is dependent on the size of the effort, the degree of success and the type of mission.
